Marjory Diane Lyons, Ph. D. is a writer, seminar leader and college professor. She is founder and owner of Telling Your Story, Inc., a publishing company specializing in writing memoirs and life stories in book form.
Author of academic and business articles and manuals, she is a board member of the Florida Publishers Association and is on the national faculty of Nova Southeastern University.
For the past ten years I have helped people write their life stories, and produced beautiful books for them.
My clients are from all aspects of life --- medical doctors, school administrators, teachers, business leaders, community advocates, historians, hotel owners, antique dealers, housewives, and more.
Many successful people want to tell their stories. Some start to write. Most stop. It’s not easy. They lack the skills required. That’s why they hire me. They need help and are willing to pay me good money for these services.
I earned $15,000 to $25,000 on each book. And, I work only part time for about a year on each book.
In my 2-day seminar, “Telling Your Story,” I will present my tested techniques and information I have gathered over these ten years. You will learn step by step instructions on:
how to ask the right questions during the interviews
how to identify your potential market and clients
how to draw out the critical details from the client
how to handle the different stages of book production and much more
Do you like talking and listening to people? Are you organized?
Do you want to work on your own time schedule? Are you looking for a new income stream?
I look forward to seeing you!
